Food Blogger/Photographer Kenty Chung, believes that food bridges cultures. He shares his sentiments about Charlotte’s food scene and how it is losing its food identity and culture.

Growing up, Kenty was the stereotypical millennial, snatching out his phone, taking a snapshot of his meal, and putting it online. As social media was exploding over time, he started his passions for cuisine, photography (as a hobby), and sharing experiences. He launched his “foodie Instagram” last 2019 to make an impact in the food scene. It has allowed him to try new foods, meet talented chefs, network with others in the same space, and most importantly, expose and share food experiences with others. 

Growing up in an environment raised by a chef mom/ restaurant owner, Kenty Chung hopes to see a lot more Asian restaurants with diverse cuisine and cooking from Chinese to Filipino food.
